Scared of haircut

Hi mums,
I have a 4 years old boy who is scared of hair cut and screams the hell out if I make him sit in the shop, he badly needs a cut. he agreed to do it with scissors but not sitting on the chair but on a couch or at home by me :-( any one has similar situation? suggestions please
