How long does it take?

Hi all. Was just wondering if everyone can tell me how long it took them to fall pregnant? My partner and I have been trying since October last year and still nothing, so I'm feeling a little bummed. I know it can take some time, however with my first child I fell pregnant pretty much right away so I just assumed it would be the same for the second time. Thank you so much.
