Hi,

I have recently been diagnosed with adenomyosis after nearly 1.5 years of heavy irregular periods. I have a 22 month old and planning on having a second one but with this condition I cannot until I go back to my normal cycle/shorter periods. I just got Mirena put in to reduce the adenomyosis growth (for 3 to 4 months- recommended by GP) but 1 week after having it put in I experienced heavier periods and cramps. Any other mums in the same situation as me who has been on Mirena and it helped with their adenomyosis and had successful pregnancies after? How long after removing Mirena can you fall pregnant?
